Assistant Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
• Collaborate closely with operational leaders to align financial reporting with business performance and operational goals.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
• Prepare and review SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, and other required reports), if applicable.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and assist with ERP system implementation projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, including liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders.

Work Schedule:

• Hybrid: Four days in-office and one day remote when not in close.
• In-Office: Five days per week during the monthly close process.

Qualifications:

• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and its practical application.
• SEC reporting experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience partnering with operations, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Experience with ERP systems is required; ERP implementation experience is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
