We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Rolling Meadows, IL area. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in handling customer inquiries, managing documentation, and collaborating with team members to provide top-tier customer service.

**Call center experience is a must!!**

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries through phone calls, emails, and chat with a focus on professionalism and timeliness.
• Collaborate with team members and vendor partners to provide industry-leading customer service.
• Offer basic troubleshooting to customers, including product knowledge and problem resolution.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all products and procedures.
• Manage and respond to all written customer correspondences.
• Ensure documentation of all customer service tickets is thorough and accurate.
• Employ excellent customer service skills in a courteous and professional manner.
• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a wholesale distribution setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in handling customer queries and resolving issues promptly.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to manage high volume of customer calls and provide timely and accurate responses.
• Experience in customer experience management and customer success management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Proficiency in using customer service software and databases.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to provide superior customer service.
• Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry would be advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
