Title: Periodontal Dental Hygienist
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program
- Valid NYS Dental Hygienist license and registration
- Two years of experience with periodontal treatments preferred
- CPR/Basic Life Support certification required
- Ability to administer local anesthesia if certified
Duties:
- Perform deep cleanings, root planing, and periodontal maintenance
- Take and process x-rays to assess gum health
- Educate patients on periodontal disease prevention and management
- Maintain accurate records and assist in treatment planning
- Provide patient comfort through nitrous oxide sedation if certified
- Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols
Pay: $50/hr to $55/hr
