Accounts Payable Clerk - Livonia

We are seeking a meticulous and diligent Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in LIVONIA, Michigan. The role offers a short term contract employment opportunity, where you will be instrumental in managing our accounts payable operations.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and categorize incoming invoices, ensuring they are correctly sorted and filed
• Accurately enter invoice data into the system for processing
• Work closely with the Accounts Payable team to handle a backlog of invoices
• Conduct account reconciliation to maintain accurate records of accounts payable
• Use Microsoft Excel and SAP for data entry and invoice processing
• Handle customer inquiries related to their accounts and invoices
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required
• Learn and apply coding to expense reports and overhead costs
• Assist in inventory management, ensuring a 3-way match from goods receipt
• Conduct check runs for payable accounts. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices
• Strong Data Entry skills required
• Knowledge of Invoice Processing is a must
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Oracle and QuickBooks software
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Prior experience in the Healthcare/NHS industry will be advantageous
