Paralegal

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including case management, document preparation, and trial support
• Identify and coordinate with experts, vendors, and contractors
• Screen potential clients and provide ongoing client communication and support
• Assist with marketing and firm operations, including administrative tasks, bookkeeping, and basic accounting support
• Learn and adapt quickly to new challenges—this role requires resourcefulness and a proactive mindset

Qualifications:

• ABA-approved Paralegal Certification (Required)
• 1-3 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience (litigation experience preferred)
• Interest in the medical field and a willingness to learn how to analyze medical records (no prior experience required)
• Experience or a strong desire to work in plaintiff-side litigation
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities across firm operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to compassionately interact with clients, many of whom have experienced brain injuries or emotional trauma
• Background in customer service, retail, food service, or childcare is a plus, as it demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
