Injection Molding Repair Tech

This is direct hire, first shift $25-$27 per hour, based on experience. This is a great company that offers, full benefits, and profit sharing bonuses twice a year.

Responsibilities

• Changes tools on mold assigned, as required, for scheduled product changes which include hanging the mold, maintaining the tools, the regular service of the tools and the repair of defective tools;
• Fits new (replacement) tools as required for same;
• Performs routine maintenance of molds such as cleaning, stoning, repair of broken bolts, replacement/fitting or worn/broken mold components such as slides end gibbs, sprue bushings, etc.;
• Maintains complete working sets of tooling in inventory by polishing and replacement from tool crib as required;
• Other related work assignments not mentioned.

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 25lbs

• Plastic Injection mold
• repairing defective tools
• Hot Runner Systems (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Preventative Maintenance (2 years of experience is preferred)
