We are in search of a proficient Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist to become a part of our team situated in Aliso Viejo, California. This role involves tasks such as managing treatment authorization request forms, maintaining consistent communication mostly through email, and navigating through different technology platforms like excel and government portals.

Responsibilities- Approve treatment authorization request forms in a timely manner to ensure swift invoice and reimbursement processes.
- Utilize strong technological skills to efficiently navigate through excel, government portals, and EMR.
- Maintain strong communication, primarily through email, to ensure smooth operations.
- Execute recurring tasks efficiently and with strong attention to detail.
- Utilize understanding of healthcare terms to manage tasks such as handling doctor and nurse's notes.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within the required time frame.
- Handle insurance verification and authorization tasks when needed. • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role within a healthcare setting
- Proficient knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Familiarity with medical billing and coding procedures
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and contracts
- Proficient in Office Suite, particularly in spreadsheet software, and experience with medical billing software
- Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred
- Certifications related to medical billing or coding would be a plus
