Washbay Attendant

Prestage Farms is looking for a Washbay Attendant to wash and disinfect trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

• Spray trucks and trailers with sprayer nozzle and power washer to remove debris
• Dislodge debris from trailers
• Fill vats with water to specified level
• Pour specified quantity of soap or chemicals into water, containers, and other solutions
• Disinfect trucks and trailers to ensure minimal disease

• Must have the ability to operate trucks (with trailer), back, and maneuver trucks into narrow locations
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondences
• Ability to speak effectively before a group of employees of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
