We are on the search for a diligent Staff Accountant in the West Hartford area. In this role, you will primarily be tasked with managing the financial transactions and records for a variety of properties. You will also be involved in preparing financial reports, handling accounts payable, and providing excellent customer service to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process various financial transactions in the accounting software.
• Oversee the maintenance of precise financial records for all property portfolios.
• Prepare detailed monthly financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
• Assist in conducting audits and other financial reviews when necessary.
• Engage in providing excellent customer service to residents and vendors, addressing their concerns and inquiries effectively.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations
• Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity with General Ledger management
• Experience in recording Journal Entries
• Skill in conducting Month End Close procedures
