Acara Solutions is looking for a Senior Accountant for our partner in Newark, CA who specializes in Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing.

Here is what you will get: Annual Rate: $74,800-$125,000 DOE + Annual Bonus Incentive Direct Hire

Responsibilities:-Assist with financial close tasks & reporting.-Prepare & enter Journal entries-Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.-Support internal & external audits-Daily review of banking transactions and cash reconciliations-Analyze Labor & Inventory costs-Administer and maintain company credit card accounts-Work collaboratively with other departments within the organization.-Provide solutions to accounting issues as they arise-Support functional accounting by managing general ledger transactions on an on going basis.-Perform various general ledger reconciliations in preparation for month end close.-Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal control requirements.-Support various quarterly and annual financial audits.-Ad Hoc analysis as needed.-Assist with other assigned tasks as needed-Work availability can include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines
