Job Description

Quality Manager key responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
Hands on - on the manufacturing / production floor
Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance product quality.
Manage the Quality team
Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and advancements to ensure best practices in quality management.

The Successful Applicant

Successful candidate for the Quality Manager role:

10+ Years of experience in Quality and 3+ years of experience in people management
Extensive experience in manufacturing process improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Extensive experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry, preferably in aerospace or related fields.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve measurable results in enhancing product quality.
Commitment to staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and advancements to maintain a cutting-edge approach to quality management.
