Exciting opportunity for a CNC Lathe Machinist. They are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to fabricate components according to specifications. The machinist will ensure quality and accuracy while adhering to safety standards.

salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

Setup and Operation:
Set up CNC lathe machines, including tool changes and workpiece clamping.
Operate CNC lathes to produce parts from various materials, ensuring adherence to technical drawings and specifications.
Programming:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
Input and adjust CNC programs as necessary for optimal performance.
Quality Control:
Monitor machining processes to ensure consistent quality.
Use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to inspect finished products and ensure they meet required tolerances.
Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC lathes.
Identify and report any issues with machinery to ensure minimal downtime.
