Your role and responsibilities

B&R is seeking a highly-motivated Sr. Mechatronics Sales Lead - US for Team. In this role you will lead a strategy to forge strategic partnerships in the market and sell mechatronic products and ser-vices to strategic accounts, assists customers in resolving issues, grows relationships and accounts, and suggests technological improvements.

The role often collaborates with engineers, R&D, and sales support to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful sales out-comes.

This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Machine Automation division (B & R Industrial Automation/across the U.S.) Main stakeholders are both our internal and external custom-ers.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Cultivating strategic partnerships with large mechatronics customer and affiliates
  • Owning end-to-end responsibility to grow sales of B&R's mechatronic product portfolio by in-dependently leading on new and existing sales opportunities.
  • Developing and leading highly technical value-propositions by understanding the unique needs of customer teams and aligning them with B&R’s offerings.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver presentations and demonstrations re-garding products and services.
  • Developing market intelligence and document this knowledge in B&R’s Customer Relation-ship Management (CRM) system.
Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of experience selling mechatronics systems.
  • 50% - 60% travel, mostly throughout the U.S. with potential for occasional international travel; valid driver’s license and passport required with no barriers to travel.
  • Ability to understand and explain/present complex technical products and solutions.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $98,700 and $183,300 annually and is bonus eligible.
