We are currently seeking a Benefits Specialist for a 2-month contract to assist our Human Resources team in managing employee benefits and ensuring smooth, efficient processes.
Job Overview: As a Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. This contract position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility between remote and in-office work in our Orlando location.
salary: $20 - $25 per hourshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and process employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to benefits administration
- Collaborate with insurance providers and third-party vendors to resolve employee issues
- Support the HR team with benefits audits, data entry, and reporting
- Communicate benefits updates and deadlines to employees
- Assist in the development and improvement of benefits-related processes and documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in benefits administration or HR support
- Knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable regulations (e.g., FMLA, ACA, COBRA)
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
