Chief Clinical Officer Job Description

Under the supervision of the President and CEO the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) is responsible for the development, staffing, and provision of services to all patients/clients of Maryhaven.

The CCO assures that programs operate according to the policies and procedures of Maryhaven and the standards of licensing, credentialing, and funding authorities under which Maryhaven operates.

Chief Clinical Officer Requirements
  • Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a minimum of a master’s degree in the field counseling or social work.
  • Independent practitioner in the provision of mental health and substance abuse services.
  • Minimum of six (6) years experience as upper level manager in the mental health or chemical dependency treatment field.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Valid State of Ohio LISW, LPCC, LICDC licensure or their equivalents.
