Tax Manager - Public

We are in the process of recruiting a Tax Manager - Public for our team based in Winter Park, Florida. The individual will play a key role in managing and facilitating various tax-related tasks in our organization. The role will primarily focus on managing accounting software systems, ensuring compliance, and overseeing auditing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the implementation and use of Accounting Software Systems within the organization
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for managing financial operations and transactions
• Manage and oversee the use of CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx for financial management tasks
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and manage entity formation processes
• Oversee the annual income tax provision process for the organization
• Develop and implement auditing procedures and processes
• Manage and coordinate accounting functions within the organization
• Utilize CCH Sales Tax for managing sales tax related tasks and processes
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to tax and accounting functions
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary.

• Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role as a Tax Manager in a public sector.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary.
• Familiarity with CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax is preferred.
• Knowledge of Accounting Functions is essential.
• Experience with Annual Income Tax Provision is a must.
• Auditing skills are required.
• Must have a strong understanding of Compliance regulations.
• Experience with Entity Formation is essential.
