Job Title: Cardiac Monitor Technician
Duties:
- Observe, analyze, and document cardiac rhythms for patients on telemetry.
- Recognize and report abnormalities in waveforms or vital signs to the appropriate staff.
- Ensure proper setup and lead placement for cardiac monitoring equipment.
- Utilize medical terminology and understanding of cardiac physiology to deliver accurate reports.
- Participate in maintaining a safe and efficient patient monitoring environment.
Skills Required:
- Acute care experience, including vital signs monitoring (minimum 1 year).
- Expertise in interpreting EKGs and telemetry rhythms.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- AHA BLS certification mandatory.
- EKG certification required.
Pay Range:
- Weekly: $1,300 - $1,550
