We are in search of a Systems Administrator to become an integral part of our insurance sector team, based in Commerce TWP, Michigan, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with the management and upkeep of our information systems, ensuring their optimal performance and security, utilizing your knowledge of Cisco, Citrix, and Cloud technologies among others.
Responsibilities:
- Administering and maintaining Cisco technologies within our network infrastructure.
- Implementing and managing Cloud Technologies, ensuring optimal use and security.
- Overseeing Firewall Technologies, preserving the integrity and safety of our systems.
- Managing Active Directory, ensuring user and system permissions are correctly granted and maintained.
- Overseeing Backup Technologies, ensuring data is adequately protected and recoverable.
- Administering Linux System, ensuring system performance and reliability.
- Utilizing scripting experience to automate routine tasks, enhancing system efficiency.
- Performing Network Administration tasks, ensuring network availability and performance.
- Backup administration, ensuring all data is securely backed up and recoverable.
- Managing Oracle Database 19c, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Administering Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring system performance and data availability.
- Deploying and managing Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Overseeing Soap Web Services, ensuring reliable integration between systems. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role or similar
- Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
- Experience with Cloud Technologies
- Knowledge of Firewall Technologies
- Demonstrated ability in using Active Directory
- Familiarity with Backup Technologies
- Experience in Linux System Administration
- Scripting Experience is a must
- Network Administration skills required
- Backup administration experience necessary
- Proficiency in Oracle Database 19c
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Familiarity with Soap Web Services is a plus
