[ref. e65370120] Fabrication Mechanic - 1st Shift

Well established manufacturer that has been in business for over 70 years is looking for an Fabrication Machine Operator to join their team! This role will train on 1st shift but transition to 2nd shift.

This person will coordinate all activities required to effectively lay out work, set-up appropriate machines or equipment to meet or exceed fabrication and customer requirements per design specifications and published schedules. Efficiently utilizes resources to minimize scrap, materials, and labor.

• Efficiently produce parts that meet and exceed quality standards as determined by the Production Supervisor and/or Quality Inspector.
• Perform set ups and operation of the machinery properly and safely. Includes but not limited to shear, riveter. drill Press, strippit punch press, roller, disk sander, portable power tools, etc.
• Troubleshoot machine problems and perform preventative maintenance.
