Accounts Receivable Clerk

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Ensure proper maintenance and accuracy of customer credit records
• Address and resolve customer inquiries related to Accounts Receivable
• Effectively monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required
• Perform basic accounting tasks in compliance with standard procedures
• Respond to information requests from various stakeholders such as shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department
• Manage deductions, as needed
• Verify the correctness of documents and codes
• Reconcile bank accounts and record and balance financial information in a variety of ledgers
• Communicate with clients to resolve payment issues and establish payment plans as required.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial
• Familiarity with Billing processes is necessary
• Ability to handle Cash Applications effectively
• Ability to manage Deductions effectively is needed
• Experience in handling Unauthorized Deductions is essential
