We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant in the education industry, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As Part-Time Administrative Assistant you will be providing administrative support within a dynamic educational environment, coordinating facilities requests, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle administrative duties to support the office operations effectively.
  • Welcome and direct visitors, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Coordinate facilities requests and follow up to ensure completion.
  • Manage and respond to inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suites to accomplish tasks and manage schedules.
  • Engage in email correspondence with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings as necessary.
  • Take initiative in handling additional related tasks as they arise.
  • Maintain a proactive approach in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Minimum of 1+ years' experience in an administrative role within the education sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience in answering inbound and outbound calls
  • Strong customer service skills and experience
  • Proficiency in data entry tasks
  • Ability to handle email correspondence effectively
  • Experience in scheduling appointments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work part-time hours
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education may be preferred
  • Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
