Associate Engineer Process

Overview:

This role uses manufacturing data to identify and implement improvements. This role also generates capital project scopes for hand-off to the capital project group for execution. They also act as the area liaison for capital project execution.

Responsibilities:

• - Integration as part of a team with operations, ESHA, technical, and project engineers and manufacturing personnel.
• Develop flow schemes to determine mass and energy balances, control logic, and equipment specifications.
• Model processes as part of the overall sizing/design processes.
• Continued involvement in project execution and start up beyond the design phase.
• Interacting with leading internal and external experts, vendors, and other outside consultants to develop and implement improvements.
• Providing technical guidance on areas of expertise to plant manufacturing and engineering organizations.
• Performing process PHAs, MOCs, RCA’s, FMEA’s

Qualifications:

Required Education:

• B.S. Chemical Engineering Degree

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• - 1-2 years engineering experience
• 5 years’ experience in manufacturing
• PHA lead or scribe experience
• Project management experience
• Training in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
