Project Details:Role:SME (System Administrator) Information TechnologyLocation: Local to VADuration:6+ months/longtermType:ContractInterview Criteria: Telephonic + Skype Job Description: The SME (System Administrator) for Information Technology will be responsible for maintaining and managing the Salesforce platforms day-to-day operations.

This role focuses on user management, security configurations, system performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations like FISMA. The System Administrator will work closely with developers, support teams, and business users to ensure the Salesforce platform functions smoothly and meets all organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, and permissions within the Salesforce platform. Implement and enforce security controls, including two-factor authentication and session settings. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform uptime and stability.
Configure and manage Salesforce sandboxes for testing and deployment of new features. Maintain system documentation, including security configurations, workflow diagrams, and integration details. Support Salesforce updates, releases, and system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems (e.g., AMS, XMS Ensure compliance with FISMA and FedRAMP standards, conducting security assessments and audits as required. Provide training and technical support to end-users across HHS OpDivs and StaffDivs.
Required Skills: 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar system administration role. Strong knowledge of Salesforce user management, security, and configuration settings. Experience with Salesforce sandboxes and change management practices.

Knowledge of federal compliance standards, particularly FISMA and FedRAMP. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills for working with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
