Forklift Operator
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in San Jose. This temp-to-hire position offers $22/hr with an 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule, perfect for someone with inventory control experience who’s ready to take on the challenge of supporting our busy logistics operation.
As a Forklift Operator, you’ll be responsible for safely moving, loading, and unloading materials within our facility. You will:
- Handle loading/unloading tasks from trucks or containers using a forklift.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks.
- Manage inventory by tracking and updating inventory systems, ensuring products are stored correctly.
- Perform routine forklift inspections and report maintenance needs to ensure safe operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Document all product movements and report damages or discrepancies.
- Work closely with your team to meet daily production and shipping goals.

- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory tracking by ensuring that goods are placed in designated areas and updating inventory systems.
- Inspecting Forklift: Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts to ensure safe operation, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
