Overview:
Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic for our Glen Ellyn contract. Starting pay is $73,881 for Single Role Paramedic. Pay increases to $a75,712 upon recieving BOF certification.
The basic function of the Paramedic is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.
- Basic Operations Firefigher class enrollment required within 1 year of hire date.

Paramedic Qualifications:
- Paramedic License
- Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification (if not held, Basic Operations Firefighter class enrollment is required within 1 year of hire date- tuition assistance available)
- CPR Certified
- 21 Years of age
- Valid Illinois Driver's License
- ACLS (Metro will train)
- PALS (Metro will train)
- Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
