Part-Time Bookkeeper

We are on the hunt for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The role includes managing financial records, dealing with accounts payable and accounts receivable, and potentially handling payroll in the future. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for two companies with different fiscal year ends
• Efficiently handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Collaborate with an external CPA firm as needed
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data entry is up to date
• Operate and manage Quickbooks for financial processes
• Potential involvement in payroll management in the future. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Demonstrated experience in Bookkeeping
• Strong data entry skills
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software
• Ability to work part-time hours
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Education in accounting or related field is preferred
• Previous experience in similar role is beneficial
