Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description: As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment at our client's facilities. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment. - Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and perform necessary maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and implement effective solutions.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Regularly maintain and lubricate machinery to prolong its lifespan and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams to minimize downtime and optimize machinery performance.
- Keep accurate maintenance records, including work performed, materials used, and any additional observations.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in a variety of equipment and machinery.
- Solid understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines when working with machinery and heavy equipment.
