Medical Receptionist

You will also oversee all front office operations. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all incoming calls diligently and professionally.
• Check-in patients, ensuring a smooth and effective process.
• Coordinate the ordering and delivery of all office supplies, maintaining an organized and well-stocked workspace.
• Oversee all front office operations, ensuring efficiency and a high level of service.
• Utilize basic medical terminology in daily interactions with patients and staff.
• Maintain a well-organized, efficient medical front office.
• Address and resolve patient inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of patient information and office supplies.
• Monitor patient accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Assist in other administrative tasks as required. • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical receptionist role or similar
• Proficient in Basic Medical Terminology
• Familiarity with Medical Front Office operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in using medical software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Must be able to handle sensitive information confidentially
• High level of professionalism and ability to interact effectively with patients, medical professionals, and staff
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Demonstrates a high level of customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
