Security Officers - Southwest Detroit Area

Overview:

Titan Security, of the fastest-growing privately-held security services providers in the state of Michigan, is currently hiring security guards to work in the Southwest Detroit area.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of gates.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid drivers license
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

• Previous experience as a security officer
• TWIC Card
