Paralegal

This is a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients to provide details about settlement procedures and payments.
• Engage with medical providers and insurance companies to ascertain current balances due, finalize liens, and request reductions.
• Coordinate the accurate and timely distribution of payments to clients and medical providers.
• Handle the preparation and finalization of documents for payment distribution.
• Actively negotiate balances and prepare settlement documents.
• Maintain regular contact with insurance providers, medical billing offices, physician’s offices, and hospitals to request updated bills.
• Use Case Management Software for effective management of cases.
• Manage Billing Functions to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Utilize skills in Briefing and Calendar Management for efficient operation.
• Handle Claim Administration and Negotiating Settlements.
• Employ eSettlement software for settlement management. • Proficiency in Case Management Software is essential
• Must be capable of managing Billing Functions
• Experience in Briefing is a prerequisite
• Must possess excellent Calendar Management skills
• Familiarity with Claim Administration is a must
• Strong Communication skills are mandatory
• Knowledge of eSettlement is required
• Experience in Negotiating Settlements is a significant advantage
