Physician Assistant – General Surgery

Qualifications:

• NYS licensed/registered and NCCPA certified (or eligible) Physician Assistant.
• Must have NPI number and be Medicare enrolled or eligible within six months of hire.
• CPR Certification required.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

• Assists in surgical procedures as a first assist.
• Conducts comprehensive pre- and post-operative patient assessments.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Manages post-operative care, including wound management and discharge planning.
• Collaborates with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.

Pay: Medium weekly pay range: $2,800 - $3,500 per week
