Construction Specialist
Additionally, the Tech Review Specialist will maintain documentation of review findings, mentor junior staff, and stay updated on industry standards to ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Review & Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive technical reviews of installation plans, specifications, and project requirements.
Identify potential issues or discrepancies in the installation process before execution, proposing solutions to mitigate risks.
Ensure that installation plans adhere to company standards, industry best practices, and safety regulations.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with project managers, installation teams, and other stakeholders to discuss findings and suggest improvements.
Facilitate productive discussions around technical challenges, providing actionable insights and solutions.
Coordinate with teams to implement technical improvements, ensuring that projects are executed smoothly.
Process Optimization & Recommendations:
Provide recommendations for optimizing installation procedures, improving efficiency, and enhancing overall project quality.
Offer technical support to installation teams during project execution, addressing any questions or challenges that arise.
Documentation & Reporting:
Develop and maintain detailed documentation of the technical review processes, findings, and outcomes.
Keep records of recommendations, solutions implemented, and project outcomes to track improvements over time.
Training & Mentorship:
Train and mentor junior staff on installation best practices, technical review processes, and problem-solving techniques.
Promote continuous learning and skill development within the technical team.
Industry Standards & Compliance:
Stay updated on the latest industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements to ensure all installation procedures are compliant and up-to-date.
Ensure all projects follow current codes and standards, maintaining the companys commitment to quality and safety.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
Proven experience in the window, door, or construction industry, particularly in technical review or installation management.
Strong understanding of installation processes, industry standards, and technical specifications.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address installation challenges effectively.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to detail with the ability to thoroughly review installation plans and specifications.
Ability to mentor and guide junior staff, providing clear direction and fostering professional growth.
Technical Knowledge & Compliance:
Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and regulations related to window and door installations.
Proficient in using technical tools, software, or systems for review and documentation purposes.
Additional Information:
This position may require occasional travel to job sites or project locations for on-site reviews or coordination.
The role may involve occasional overtime or weekend work based on project demands.
