Overview:

The Marketing Specialist – Operations Systems plays a critical role in optimizing marketing efficiency and effectiveness through technology, process improvement, and data-driven insights. This individual will assist with efforts to streamline workflows, maintain marketing assets, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute analytical and innovative deliverables.

With a focus on operational excellence, this role is key to driving alignment, scalability, and measurable results within the marketing team.

Responsibilities:

Manages and maintains data and governance across all Marketing platforms [e.g., Learning Management Systems (LMS), Content Management Systems (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM”), Sales Enablement, etc.]:

  • Ensures data integrity and hygiene across all platforms
  • Ensures proper administration by serving as the primary liaison between platform vendors.

Conducts data collection and analysis:

  • Gathers data from various sources, including CRM, CMS, and LMS platforms, and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of marketing operations tools.
  • Analyzes trends, patterns and insights by conducting data analysis to have a more informed strategic decision-making process and to optimize campaign reach.
  • Provides leadership and direction to team members by organizing regular meetings, workshops, and status updates to keep team on track.
  • Creates detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders that provide actionable insights to increase efficiency and effectiveness on tools.
  • Creates surveys (i.e., Survey Monkey), dashboards, and reports in collaboration with team members.
  • Gathers and analyzes stakeholders’ feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions or training as needed.

Performs various administration duties and assists other members of the Marketing Department with other duties as required.

Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.

Others may be assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or related field from four-year college or university; three (3) to five (5) years related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) is required.
  • Prior experience in CRM and CMS software is also required.
  • Experience in Adobe software (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) is a plus.
