We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is in the healthcare industry and will be based in an office setting. As a Front Desk Coordinator, your primary duties will involve administrative assistance, customer service, and data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in patients for their appointments with a welcoming demeanor
  • Efficiently schedule and confirm appointments to ensure seamless operations
  • Verify insurance eligibility of patients to prevent any miscommunication
  • Enter patient payment, insurance, and demographic information accurately and promptly
  • Direct phone calls to the appropriate personnel or department
  • Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word for administrative tasks
  • Provide concierge services and answer inquiries to provide excellent customer service
  • Organize files and maintain a clean and orderly front desk area
  • Handle additional administrative tasks and projects as required to support the team
  • Utilize your interpersonal skills to foster a positive environment for all visitors and staff.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role or in administrative assistance is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in answering multi-line phone systems
  • Demonstrable skills in providing concierge services
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact professionally with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in organizing files and maintaining filing systems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in Office Administration is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle office matters with utmost discretion.
