If this resonates with you, we would love to hear from you. BPCM is looking for an Assistant Account Executive to join our growing Travel, Wine, Spirits & Lifestyle team.

Responsibilities will be (but are not limited to):

Media Relations
  • Manage core day-to-day media relations
  • Assisting in securing print, online and broadcast placements for clients as directed by senior team members
  • Develop and manage relationships with junior level editors
  • Participate in strategic brainstorming sessions with the internal client team
  • Plan and actualize PR events alongside the AE (Product Launches, Deskside Meetings, Store Openings, etc.)
  • Help to lead all PR activity for select clients
  • Creation of target media list for invitations
  • Help brainstorm, propose, execute and oversee digital partnerships
  • Secure attendance to events
  • Post-event press facilitation
Influencer
  • Assist in execution of influencer relations strategies
  • Identify on brand influencers for clients
  • Work to foster and develop relationships with brand-appropriate influencers
  • Assist in planning and in some cases, lead planning for smaller influencer activations/events and trip
Mailings/Products
  • Conduct/organize all editor/influencer mailings in conjunction with mailing house
  • Track social media for posts
  • Assemble mailing recaps with key metrics and KPIs
  • Help with digital influencer outreach (e.g. s TWS bloggers, vloggers, bloggers)
  • Industry and Relationship building
Reporting
  • Create/ update press credit analysis in conjunction with Cision
  • Track and monitor secured press for your accounts and distribute to team in a timely manner
  • Scan credits immediately and send to team and work with social media to release to public
  • Share influencer results in real-time
  • Ensure influencer results are captured on in weekly, monthly, yearly reports
  • Responsible for online tracking/digital analysis for applicable clients
Writing/Interviews
  • Help with press releases (writing/distribution)
  • Help coordinate and review interviews for accuracy
  • Assist in drafting interview responses as necessary
Admin support
  • Update media and influencer list with contact moves and send on a monthly basis
  • Weekly press coverage updates, where applicable (to be sent weekly on Fridays)
  • UPS/Messengering products, ensure accuracy in coding and client billing as well as presentation
  • Place product orders and manage wine closet
  • Editor birthday gifts and list compilation
  • Editor and influencer gifting
  • Ordering supplies such as bags, tissue paper, folders, etc.
  • Client and spokespeople travel needs

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience within an agency or in-house department , preferably in the wine, spirits, and/or hospitality
  • A true interest in hospitality, spirits, & luxury lifestyle brands
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Problem solving and solution oriented with a proactive attitude
  • Proficient computer skills i.e., Power Point, Excel and Word (to intermediate level)

The anticipated salary range for this position is $53,000 - $65,000 annually. Actual compensation is based on a range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
