Job Description
UWorld seeks a Digital Marketing Manager to oversee, develop, execute, and measure marketing campaigns, in addition to managing a small team of digital marketers. These activities include content creation, SEO strategy, ad placement and strategy, digital and email campaign marketing programs, and other demand-generation activities.The Digital Marketing Manager is also responsible for working with the data analytics team to create dashboards, reports, and regular measures of traditional marketing analytics.
Job Duties (including but not limited to):
Digital Strategy:
- Create and implement digital marketing strategies
- Manage a small team of digital marketers
- Manage SEO strategy
- Manage email marketing campaigns from beginning to end through plan development, targeting, setup, implementation, and reporting/analysis
- Manage budget, goals, and schedule of all paid search for multiple portfolios
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Collaborate with and manage assigned agency partners
- Work closely with the company's in-house creative and technology teams to continuously improve the online experience
- Develop and measure key metrics, including user acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, and satisfaction rates
- Use benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement
Analytics:
- Design, develop, and maintain regular reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Manage digital marketing tech stack
- Analyze website traffic reports, linking structures, codes, and content to be able to make smart recommendations to increase website traffic, the number of quality leads, and conversion rates
- Use benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and measure key metrics around the business, including user acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, and satisfaction rates
- Lead social media strategy development and program execution for multiple lines of business (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Reddit, Twitch, Discord, Quora, College Confidential, etc.)
- Create and implement social media marketing strategies that deliver a quantifiable ROI
- Maintain a strong online company voice through social media
- Research and evaluate market behavior, trends, and competitors to identify opportunities
- Initiate and manage lead nurturing programs to accelerate prospect movement through the demand generation funnel
- Ensure brand consistency
- Develop program objectives, targets, tactics, and metrics and define best practices, standards, and processes to drive customer acquisition success

- Hire and train team members
- Develop and create positive work environment that stimulates intellectual growth and creativity and fosters a strong team environment
- Negotiate optimal resolution of issues while alerting human resources if potentially serious ones arise
- Recommend and/or initiate salary, disciplinary, or other staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with Company rules/policies
- Serve as a mentor to staff in problem solving, decision making, and planning activities
- Demonstrate accountability and responsibility by independently completing projects/assignments on time while holding others accountable for meeting objectives and adhering to standards
- Collaborate with direct reports to ensure they have a personal/professional growth and development plan to enhance knowledge, competencies, and professional practice
- Pursue opportunities for personal growth and development through meetings and educational programs
Requirements
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or other relevant field; masters degree preferred
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas in a collaborative environment
- Solid organizational, planning, and self-motivation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
Minimum Experience Required:
- 7+ years digital marketing and/or agency experience
- 3+ years managerial experience
- Certification in Google Ads and Analytics
- Strong experience with marketing and sales CRMs (preferably Pardot, Hubspot, and Salesforce)
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS web publishing software
- Working knowledge of visualization tools (preferably Tableau)
- Knowledge of digital ad placements, budgets, and adaptation to maximize ad performance
- Extensive experience with effective digital ad copy
- Demonstrated experience generating SEO-friendly, conversion-optimized campaigns
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices and benchmarking
- Demonstrated experience moving prospects through all stages of the marketing funnel
