Intelligence Planner - Junior - Chicago

BlueHawk is seeking an Intelligence Planner to join our USTRANSCOM directorate. The mission areas for Intelligence Planner assistance include but are not limited to, the development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES).Employs intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National Intelligence support capabilities, including collection, analytic, and targeting activities, into overarching operational planning functions and efforts across the DOD.
Responsibilities:
- Leads or participates in intelligence planning teams to develop strategies to address intelligence gaps and shortfalls.
- Developing Priority Intelligence Requirements, Essential Elements of Information, Indicators, and collection requirements.
- Supports the development of the Annual Joint Assessment and related nominations to the commander's integrated priority lists, and command battle rhythm events and B2C2WGs that require intelligence planner support.
- Documents and develops the Intelligence Directorate's Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP Plan) and document mission decomposition to assess COOP requirements.
- Uses the Task Management Tool to complete staff tasks related to intelligence planning duties on time.
- Prepares entries for the Weekly Activity Report for submission to the Director of Intelligence
- Possesses familiarity with the Joint Planning Process and planning products.
- Supports planning intelligence operations and providing intelligence support to planning and exercise development.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of a TS/SCI w Poly or be willing to obtain a Poly
- Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 7 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
