You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project goals while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage construction activities at various industrial project sites, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a culture of safety among all project team members.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, proactively identifying and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Mentor and coach junior superintendents and field personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Review and approve project budgets, change orders, and subcontractor invoices, ensuring financial accountability and project profitability.
• Maintain accurate documentation of construction activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or Senior Superintendent with a focus on commercial projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations specific to industrial settings.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
