Associate Attorney

We are in search of a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team in Los Gatos, California. This role is within the field of Homeowners Association Real Estate Law and will involve working in a hybrid environment. This is a unique opportunity for anyone looking to further their legal career in the real estate industry.

Responsibilities:

• Work on litigation cases, supporting the team of seven attorneys
• Contribute to the annual target of 1700 billables
• Leverage legal software such as 3M, Case Management Software, LexisNexis to manage cases efficiently
• Prepare and present briefings on complex legal issues
• Handle civil litigation cases and work closely with the claim administration team
• Address and resolve customer complaints in accordance with company policies
• Maintain and update legal documentation in the company's management system
• Utilize your experience in real estate law to provide legal advice and guidance
• Work on civil litigation cases and provide expertise in real estate law.
• Must hold a valid law degree from an accredited institution
• Must be admitted to the bar in the state of operation
• Proficiency in using legal software such as LexisNexis, 3M, and Case Management Software
• Prior experience in Real Estate Law is preferred
• Experience with civil litigation and claim administration
• Must have solid knowledge and experience in briefing and handling complaints
• Must have strong documentation skills
• Experience in complaint handling and civil litigation is required
• Knowledge of Management Systems and their application in legal practice
• Demonstrable experience in civil litigation and claim administration
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments
• High level of professionalism and adherence to ethical guidelines
• Excellent time management abilities and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
