Senior People (HR) Generalist

About Us:
ProSomnus Sleep Technologies, Inc. is the leading non-CPAP OSA therapy™ for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. We’re looking for a highly motivated and adaptable Senior People (HR) Generalist to help build and grow our People team function.

This role will be key in driving the development of People team strategies, systems, and programs to support our dynamic and talented team. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top talent for various positions across the company.
  • Develop and refine job descriptions, recruitment strategies, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a smooth and engaging experience.
  1. Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Act as a trusted advisor for employees and management, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and constructive manner.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture through engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and employee development programs.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  1. Policies and Compliance:
  • Implement and ensure compliance with HR policies, practices, and legal requirements (e.g., labor laws, employee rights).
  • Stay current on HR best practices, legal requirements, and market trends, especially as they relate to a startup environment.
  • Assist in the development of employee handbooks, code of conduct, and company policies.
  1. Compensation & Benefits:
  • Assist with benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
  • Partner with the VP of People to conduct regular salary benchmarking and recommend adjustments to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Partner with VP of People and Finance for bi-weekly payroll review.
  1. Performance Management and Development:
  • Support the development and execution of performance review processes, goal setting, and employee development plans.
  • Partner with managers to provide coaching and training, helping them manage team performance and career growth.
  • Help build a culture of continuous learning by identifying opportunities for employee skill development and growth.
  1. HR Systems and Reporting:
  • Manage HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and creating reports on key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, recruitment, employee engagement).
  1. Startup-Specific People Support:
  • Collaborate with the VP of People to scale HR practices as the company grows, developing scalable processes while maintaining a personalized employee experience.
  • Assist in creating and refining company-wide programs such as recognition, wellness, and team-building events that align with the startup culture.
  • Be proactive in adapting People team strategies to meet the unique challenges of a rapidly evolving startup environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a generalist or senior HR role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compensation strategies.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and hands-on approach to HR in a growing organization.
