We are in the search for a dedicated Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in Parsippany, New Jersey. In the Food & Food Processing industry, you will play a crucial role in handling order management and logistics. This role provides a contract to hire employment opportunity where you will be responsible for implementing CSR practices and policies, analyzing performance, and managing customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process customer orders using SAP Order Management
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our customer service practices and policies
  • Enhance customer logistics performance and the total cost-to-serve by streamlining order processing
  • Handle the complete order processing cycle, including receipt of purchase orders, confirmation of inventory, and delivery dates
  • Ensure on-time shipping, delivery, and fill rates to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Utilize analytical skills to track efficiency gains of ship with functionality and provide updates to customer service and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Maintain strong communication with internal (Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT) and external partners
  • Use Microsoft Excel, SAP, and proprietary systems to track shipments through warehouses and carriers
  • Manage multiple accounts: receive POs, allocate inventory, confirm delivery dates, and coordinate on-time deliveries with warehouses and carriers
  • Initiate and support continuous process improvement to enhance overall cost-to-serve for key accounts
  • Manage returns, credit, and claims processes efficiently, minimizing OS& Ds and customer claims for non-compliance. • Proven experience in a Customer Experience Specialist role or similar within the Food & Food Processing industry.
  • Exceptional skills in Analytics to interpret customer data and trends.
  • Ability to Track Shipments effectively, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in handling Purchase Orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in SAP for managing business operations and customer relations.
  • Experience in Order Entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing customer orders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
  • Prior experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and resolving their concerns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle any customer issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently.
  • Must possess a customer-centric approach and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
