We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in DEVON, Pennsylvania. As a bookkeeper, you will be primarily responsible for managing our company's financial records, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
You will also be responsible for reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and interacting with members.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct account reconciliation tasks for bank and distributor accounts
- Handle general ledger work and maintain accurate financial records
- Process bi-weekly payroll using designated software
- Resolve member inquiries and ensure high-quality customer interactions
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for various bookkeeping tasks
- Perform data entry tasks and manage month-end close processes
- Collaborate with the Office Manager on various financial tasks
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to financial compliance regulations
- Actively engage in continuous learning and development in the field of bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation is required
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must
- Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations is crucial
- Strong bookkeeping skills are essential
- Proficiency in data entry tasks is needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience with month-end close activities is a must
- Understanding of payroll processes is necessary
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential
