We are looking for a Database Developer to join our team in Wisconsin. As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for the integration, report development, and custom label coding in the context of an application modernization and ERP implementation.

This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Crystal reports report writing and clean-up
  • Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using SQL
  • Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
  • Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
  • Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development
  • Participate in application modernization and ERP implementation projects
  • Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software
  • Develop technical specifications and schedules for projects
  • Learn and develop skills in information technology to include varied programming languages
  • Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
  • Research and suggest new database products, services, and protocols.
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Developer or in a related role.
  • Proficiency in SQL Developer is required.
  • Experience with Crystal Reports is essential and the most critical.
  • Candidates must have strong report writing skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding is required.
  • Applicants should have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience in working with large data sets and databases is required.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are necessary.
  • Candidates should have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively is essential.
  • Knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies in database development is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices is a plus.
