We are seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary to join our team. In this role, you will be part of the legal industry, specifically focusing on civil litigation defense. This position is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including transcription, document management, and customer interaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

  • Transcribe from dictation tapes accurately and swiftly

  • Format and file legal pleadings in accordance with set standards and regulations
  • Familiarize yourself with various legal documents and their appropriate uses
  • Use Case Management Software for effective and efficient case handling. • Proficiency in Aderant software
  • Ability to use Adobe Acrobat
  • Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
  • Experience with Case Management Software
  • Knowledge of CompuLaw
  • Ability to handle billing functions
  • Experience in briefing
  • Excellent calendar management skills
  • Strong client relations abilities
  • Familiarity with consumer electronics
  • Experience in civil litigation
  • Prior civil litigation experience is a must
  • Defense litigation experience preferred
  • Ability to draft pleadings
  • Experience with legal pleadings
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents
