Strategic Sourcing Analyst - Electrical

About Our Client

The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and procurement, to support the company's growth and operational efficiency.

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for electrical components, including cables, connectors, switches, and circuit breakers.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier base optimization.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on total cost, quality, service, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and terms while minimizing risk.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to align sourcing strategies with product specifications and project timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure ongoing compliance with quality and service requirements.
• Analyze and report on sourcing performance, including savings, supplier performance, and supply chain risk.
• Support new product development initiatives by sourcing and qualifying new suppliers and materials.
• Lead cross-functional teams in supplier selection and qualification processes, including supplier audits and assessments.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to electrical components and sourcing.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the electrical or electronics industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical components, specifications, and market dynamics.
• Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in sourcing tools and software, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What's on Offer

Target compensation for the Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst is $85,000 - $115,000 + 10% bonus.
