The Role

Are you passionate about marketing and eager to contribute to a dynamic team? Join our Marketing Communications team at STERIS Life Sciences! As a Marketing Technology Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing content, promoting our products, and generating leads through our website.

You'll work with cutting-edge tools like Sitecore CMS and SEO techniques to enhance our online presence. Additionally, you'll provide exceptional customer support and contribute to building brand awareness globally.

This position is a Mentor, OH based hybrid position. Working a minimum of 2 days a week (Tuesday/Thursday) at the STERIS office is expected with the ability to be in the office more as needed.

What you will do:

  • Tech Stack Management:Handle customer data and monitor website visitor traffic.
  • Improve online content using data-driven approaches within our CMS tool.
  • Support email marketing efforts, including database development and campaign execution.
  • Enhance SEO rankings for our Life Sciences website and internal search components.
  • Optimize user experience across all digital platforms.
  • Provide social media engagement guidelines.
  • Occasionally manage vendor relationships.
  • Train marketing staff on tech stack tools and best practices.
  • Marketing & Customer Lists:Manage lead data and optimize lead nurturing through integrated marketing programs (web, email).
  • Implement and refine marketing automation routines to convert leads into customers.

Analytics: Set up accurate reporting and track engagement KPIs.

Analyze website and marketing campaign results to inform strategies.

Continuously refine processes to convert inbound marketing activity into customers.

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience
  • Minimum four years of digital marketing experience, including CMS, content development, SEO, and lead generation.
  • Demonstrated success in managing social media for at least two years.
  • Two years of experience managing external development partners.
Skills
  • Proficiency in Content Marketing Systems (preferably Sitecore) and Email Marketing automation tools (e.g., Campaign Monitor, Sugar Market).
  • Daily website management, content improvement, and lead conversion.
  • Conduct market and competitive research.
  • Execute online campaigns for brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Analyze marketing results.
  • Familiarity with Lead Generation Tools (preferably Sugar).
  • Project management skills.
  • HTML and CSS knowledge is a plus.
  • Utilize Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for data-driven improvements.
  • Implement SEO tactics to maintain page one positioning on Google Search.
  • Maintain accurate customer lists for email automation and segmentation.
  • Stay informed about new marketing technologies and tactics.
