Maintenance Supervisor
Overview:
Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair and/or replacement of plant equipment and systems. To ensure maximum production quantity and quality.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain and repair equipment
- Perform and follow through on regular and preventative maintenance of equipment
- Facility repair work includes basic painting, simple carpentry, routine plumbing repairs and routine or special facility maintenance functions
- Receive work orders & complete in a timely matter
- Follow standard safety procedures, correct safety and environmental hazards and report them to the appropriate supervisor immediately
- May be required to work overtime in emergency situations or when it would be advantageous to perform task at a time other than regular business hours
- All PLC and PLC communication functions
- Interface with Production IT department to ensure smooth system performance and enhancements
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot secondary high and low voltage electrical systems
- Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that maintenance can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Communicates regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues.
- Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Completes monthly BOS per preventative maintenance completion charts.
- Maintains spare parts inventory, and works with vendors to insure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Works with vendors, and suppliers for service, and training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Relevant Field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in building maintenance and repair.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including 480V, 110V, and 24VDC circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work orders.
- Familiarity with office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
- Safety-conscious and able to identify and address potential hazards.
