Capital Equipment Sales Specialist

As part of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking to recruit an additional team member for our Healthcare Sales Team selling to Acute locations within the Republic of Ireland.
The successful candidate will focus on growing two key areas of our business, and will have experience selling the following:
- X-ray Imaging Devices
- Automation systems for medication management
In this new role, you will represent 2 blue-chip manufacturers with existing sales revenue and large scope for further growth.
The team works closely with our partner companies and HCP’s providing solutions to Hospitals.
We're looking for someone with experience selling Medical Capital Equipment who is also familiar with the sales cycle and projects that accompany this type of sale.- This is a full-time permanent position, ideally based in the Dublin / Leinster area.
- The main call points are Acute Hospitals in the Republic of Ireland
- Flexibility regarding the territory covered will play an important part as the business’s needs evolve.
The successful candidate will work core hours of 37.5 hours per week, 8:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, although work outside of these hours will sometimes be expected.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets across the product portfolio.
- Building relationships with clinicians, Key Opinion Leaders, and healthcare professionals.
- Identifying unmet needs in accounts.
- Present a professional image of Brennan & Co.
- Provide reports, analysis, and territory planner to the Sales Manager.
- All administrative duties should be completed in a correct and timely fashion.
- Work entails daily interfacing with a variety of KOLs.
- Degree level preferably in a scientific/medical or business-related discipline.
- Experience in Medical Device Capital sales (2 -3 years minimum) – Not pharma sales.
- Good understanding of the HSE procurement process.
- Ability to work with internal and external project teams.
- Demonstrates strong sales skills - opening skills, preparation, demonstration, negotiation, closing skills, objection handling and presentation skills.
- Skilled in Business and opportunity planning.
- Strong Account and Territory Management skills required.
- Full, clean driving license.
