Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Join our team as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, supporting patients in their healthcare journey by providing financial guidance and assistance. This role involves contributing to a compassionate and supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in applying for medical assistance programs.
• Counsel patients on navigating medical bills, insurance benefits, and available financial resources.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Review patient accounts and ensure accuracy of billing information.
• Educate patients on available financial assistance programs and eligibility criteria.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and resources to support patient financial needs.
• Provide training and support to other staff members on financial assistance processes and procedures.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of the department.
• Work closely with hospital administration to develop and implement financial assistance policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance.
• Preferred experience in a healthcare facility, insurance billing, Medicaid eligibility, or social work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, goal-oriented, and organized.
• Comfortable working in a hospital environment.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30p
