HSE Manager
A leader in offshore wind projects in the Northeast is seeking a HSE Manager ro join its team in Providence, Rhode Island for a long-term contract role.
As HSE Manager, you will be responsible for leading quality, health and safety initiatives for the project. You will ensure data collection and reporting on HSE issues, support implementation of safety plans, handle safety walks and trainings, and monitoring compliance and risk management.
Candidates should have at least 3 years in HSE and quality iniatives in industrial settings and a technical or Bachelor's degree. Preferred qualifications include being a certified auditor, ability to conduct training courses, and a QHSE qualficiation like NEBOSH: ASP/CSP.Candidates MUST be certified or able to obtain certification prior to start date for the GWO Standard Basic Safety Training.
This role will typically be set for 10 hour shifts, five days per week. The five day schedule may vary depending on project needs and the rotations for the offshore crews. This role is eligible for per diem and OT and is expected to last 12 months with possible extensions.
